Travel: Photos from Hangzhou and Suzhou

by maltzajava on April 2, 2009

I thought I would post some photos from my little excursion to Hangzhou and Suzhou last week.

This is a view of Tiger Hill in Suzhou. They call it the Chinese “Leaning Tower” because it is leaning a few degrees. Suzhou is a nice, peaceful place that has a lot of beautiful gardens. It can be quite relaxing, and I was happy I got a chance to go back. The feel this time was a little different, as it was colder and there did not seem to be as much vegetation as during the summer.

Did I mention it was cloudy? That, plus the pollution makes for a real bad photo day.

I have more photos posted here (not all, still have some that need to be uploaded). I am not sure if I will have any more outings while I am in China. The other day I went to Zhu Jia Jiao, but I think that is it. A few more company visits, a couple more weeks of teaching, and it is back to Singapore.
